I absolutely loved every minute of this wedding. Caitlin and Ben have a love that is real and beautiful to behold. They impressed me so much when we captured their Cherry Blossom Engagement Session last spring, and I've been looking forward to their wedding ever since.
I knew these two were absolute gems after they cheerfully met me at 6:00 AM for those engagement photos, and they were just as flexible and laid-back on their wedding day. Despite soaring heat and humidity, they happily strolled the streets and alleys of Old Town for their portraits. When the rain forced us to move their family photos at the last minute and relocate the reception indoors, they didn't stress. I couldn't have asked for two more awesome people to welcome me back to wedding photography after my maternity leave.
And, on top of all that, this wedding was a real beauty to photograph. Caitlin was stunning in her Blush BHLDN gown, and I loved, loved, loved her side fishtail braid and beaded headband. Her maids chose beautiful knee-length gowns in complimentary shades of pastel pink, and all the ladies wore matching heels and carried gorgeous bouquets by local, organic designers, Greenstone Fields.
Meanwhile, the guys kept things cool and casual with crisp white shirts and suspenders, while Ben jazzed up his suit with a custom red liner and some gorgeous leather shoes.
Of course, nothing looks as beautiful as true love and happiness, and Caitlin and Ben were glowing with both.
Many thanks to Caitlin and Ben for including me in this joyful day, and to Emily Clack Photography for helping me capture it.
