After sixteen years together, Greg and Dan decided to get married this fall. They were planning a private ceremony with a judge, but their friends and family had no intention of missing out on the chance to celebrate with them. When several people began snooping to discover the date and location of the ceremony, Greg and Dan decided to broaden their plans. In a few weeks, they put together a lovely brunch wedding and reception at the Mansion on O Street.
The ceremony was simple and personal with a Pablo Neruda poem read in honor of both their mothers and beautiful vows written by Greg and Dan. When the judge (a close friend of the couple) pronounced them married, the whole room broke out in applause in cheers that lasted for several minutes.
Greg and Dan asked me to get lots of photos of their friends and family, but I couldn't resist taking a few photos of the mansion's ornate decor and the scrumptious desserts at the buffet. This wedding had the largest and most beautiful selection of cakes and pies I've ever seen. Your sweet tooth will agree: it's good to be friends with Greg and Dan!
