I'm so glad you're here! This is where you can keep up with my latest weddings, engagements, and family sessions as well as my personal artistic projects and paleo-ish recipe hacks. It's a great way to get to know me and my work, and I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas for future posts in the comments.
Any engagement session that begins and ends with popping Champagne is all right with me! I absolutely loved working with Mary Kate and Joe, who share my love for laid-back summer days at home with the ones you love. We started out at their beautiful house in Westfield to capture a little slice of their life there (with their sweet black lab, who absolutely stole my heart.)
We also wanted some photos with lots of greenery, and a local park with a forest path and a wide, sunny meadow was the perfect backdrop. I love how Mary Kate’s white dresses are absolutely glowing against those leaves! As the sun dropped lower in the sky, we returned to the house to get a few photos in front of the lake (and sip a little more Champagne.)
One of my favorite things about this session was how natural and relaxed everything felt. We had talked about a number of different locations, but in the end, sticking close to home felt like the right choice. I could tell that Joe and Mary Kate were comfortable, and it really shows in the playfulness and joy of these images! Needless to say, I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding this fall at St. John’s Cathedral and D’Amore with my friend Sarah from All in the Details.
Mary Kate and Joe, thank you for welcoming me to your home and helping me make these beautiful images! I’m so excited for your wedding this fall (and I’m thinking there might be more Champagne.)
