I'm so glad you're here! This is where you can keep up with my latest weddings, engagements, and family sessions as well as my personal artistic projects and paleo-ish recipe hacks. It's a great way to get to know me and my work, and I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas for future posts in the comments.
As it turns out, I’m back from maternity leave sooner than I anticipated! The baby and I are almost sleeping all the way through the night, and things have really picked up in my photography world. This fall I’ll be shooting my first two weddings in Indianapolis and flying back to DC twice for a wedding and an engagement session.
But before all of that starts, I got to shoot this lovely Anniversary party for Kendra Scott Indianapolis at the Fashion Mall at Keystone.
To celebrate their first anniversary at this location, all the employees dressed “white and bright”, and I’m loving their little white dresses and eclectic shoes! (And don’t you want to work here after seeing how much fun they had at our little mini shoot?)
There’s a lot to love about Kendra Scott. In addition to the gorgeous jewelry (and a new line of home goods!), each store is uniquely decorated and designed. And the company makes a point of giving back to the community. During this celebration, Kendra Scott donated twenty percent of all sales to the Riley Children’s Foundation.
It was clear that there’s a strong community supporting Riley, because so many people came out to the party and they all seemed to know each other.
The Riley folks and Kendra Scott team all made me feel so welcome and helped me pick out some beautiful jewelry to wear to an upcoming wedding to boot. Of course, I’ve still got my eye on some of those home goods. They’re made of agate, just like my logo design! Do you think there’s any way I can claim them as a business expense?
