I'm so glad you're here! This is where you can keep up with my latest weddings, engagements, and family sessions as well as my personal artistic projects and paleo-ish recipe hacks. It's a great way to get to know me and my work, and I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas for future posts in the comments.
I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for so long, and I know I’m not the only one! Katelyn and Colby first met in high school and dated for the better part of a decade before he proposed last year. You can see how closely their lives and families have grown over that time–there is so much love and support surrounding them. When Colby walked up the aisle and turned to face the guests, they all started applauding. The feeling is totally mutual. Katelyn and Colby’s wedding was centered on honoring both their families–with brothers and sisters in the wedding party and their adorable neice and nephews as the flower children.
I loved shooting on the Eastern Shore at Maria’s Love Point B&B. The wedding had a very laid back and summery feeling with guests drifting out to the dock during cocktail hour. Best of all, the location allowed the newlyweds to get away at the end of the night on a very special boat. Colby’s much-beloved father, Hop, passed away several years ago, and his family recently named their boat “Island Hopper” in his honor. After a sparkler send off, Colby helped his bride onto Island Hopper and they sailed away to their next adventure.
Katelyn and Colby, thank you so much for including me in this beautiful and joyful celebration!
