I'm so glad you're here! This is where you can keep up with my latest weddings, engagements, and family sessions as well as my personal artistic projects and paleo-ish recipe hacks. It's a great way to get to know me and my work, and I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas for future posts in the comments.
I absolutely loved working with Liz and David for their Charlottesville, Virginia wedding, so I was thrilled when they asked me to do a “Day After” portrait session. Liz and David love hiking and being outdoors, and they wanted a few more portraits in their wedding attire in the woods.
We actually waited to do this session until several months after the wedding so we could capture the beautiful fall color in Northern Virginia. By using Roosevelt Island as our location, we were able to get photos in the woods, by the Potomac, and on some of the beautiful bridges and benches in the middle of the island.
Once again, Liz and David were just amazing to work with as they are so kind and loving toward each other. It was truly a joy to capture this kind of love in such a beautiful, romantic setting.
